SR-71 on display at the SAC Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. Many folks may recall the SAC Museum being located in Belleview, Nebraska, just north of the Offutt AFB. After the end of the Cold War and the shutdown of SAC, the State of Nebraska built a new building for the SAC Museum. It is located just off of Interstate 80 about half-way between Lincoln and Omaha. The SR-71 is dramatically displayed in the museum atrium.
