F-20

This is the F-20 Tigershark on display at the California Aerospace Museum in Los Angeles, CA. The museum is located just south of downtown Los Angeles just off of the I-110 freeway in Exposition Park. This is the sole surviving Tigershark. The other two prototypes were lost in crashes, while a fourth airframe was never completed.

The F-20 was displayed hanging from the ceiling of the museum along a wall. Part of the plane was in direct sunlight, the rest of in shade. There were a number of other items hanging nearby. As a result, it was nearly impossible to get a photo of the Tigershark. This one is the best of the bunch that I took that day, but even this one shows some sun leaking into the side of my lens in the form of a red spot on the image. Due to a wall being at my back, I couldn't get any further from the airplane. Despite having a short range 28mm lens, I still had to tilt the camera at an angle to fit the entire aircraft into the image.
