This skyway connects the C and G concourses at the Lindberg Terminal at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. The main concourses form a large H-shape, with two legs paralleling the airport entrance road. It can be quite a hike from the main entrance down to these lower concourses, even with the moving walkways. Even worse would be arriving on one airline, and transferring to a different airline that would require walking up one leg of the H, then down another leg. To help cut the distance, the Skyway Connector provides a direct connection between the longer of the two legs of the H. It also has a connection to the parking ramp and light rail station.

The Skyway Connector is nearly 1000 feet long, with the parking ramp entrance located at the mid point. The cable stay sections are a variation of the traditional cable stay mechanism in that they have only a single set of stays, and the stays are rods rather than cables. The cable stay sections are located at the endpoints of the skyway where it crosses the entrance and exit roadways.

The upper photo is the skyway over the entrance road, while the lower photo is the skyway over the exit road.
