B-47E Stratojet
March Field Museum
Riverside, CA

B-47

B-47E Stratojet bomber on display at the March Field Museum, on the grounds of the former March AFB in Riverside, California. The museum is open to the public, and has its own exit from Interstate I-215.

Note—this photo was accidentally double-exposed. The shadows of the people and the aircraft image midway along the B-47 fuselage are artifacts of the 2nd exposure. This photo is from one my bigger photo boo-boos over the years. The original image is from the final flight of the SR-71 at Edwards, AFB, and I accidentally reused this roll of film at the March Field Museum a few days later. I guess I was not used to the 105 degree desert heat, and made a dumb mistake.
