B-17

B-17G Return To Glory on display at the March Field Museum on the grounds of March Air Force Base in Riverside, California. The museum is open to the public. It can be driven to via automobile without having to enter the air base, look for signs and an exit off of Interstate-215.

This photo was spoiled due to a double exposure. I hope to someday soon get back to this museum and retake photos of this aircraft. Perhaps it will be a day when it is not 100 degrees outside. The aircraft itself has a long and colorful history. It is only fitting that hit has a very colorful patriotic nose art consisting of a flag and a bald eagle.
